Digitalni repozitorij KBF-a The Catholic Faculty of Theology is a public church institution and a component of the University of Split according to the terms of the Agreement on the Status and Operation of the Catholic Faculty of Theology in Split as part of the University of Split, dated July 9, 1999. The Faculty has been recognized by the Holy See and enjoys the status of a canonical higher church institution. It organizes and conducts university integrated (undergraduate and graduate), undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate studies. It develops scientific, research, teaching, artistic, and publishing activities. The fundamental task of the Faculty is the education and training of candidates for priesthood and other church services, as well as the education and training of students for teaching in the institutions of the educational system of the Republic of Croatia and for other services in society that are related to spiritual and ethical significance. The development strategy of the CTF for the period 2017-2021 is aligned with the following university, national, and European strategic documents:
- University of Split Strategy 2015 - 2020;
- Scientific Strategy of the University of Split 2017 - 2021;
- Network of Higher Education Institutions and Study Programs in the Republic of Croatia.
