Faculty of Catholic Theology in Split Wins Gold in Women's Water Polo at Student Championship
The Student Water Polo Championship was held at the Poljud Swimming Pools in Split on Tuesday, 20 October 2026, where the Faculty of Catholic Theology at the University of Split achieved an outstanding sporting success. In the women's competition, the Faculty won the gold medal after defeating the Faculty of Kinesiology team 8–5.
This achievement reflects the team's excellent performance and represents a valuable contribution to the sporting life of our Faculty. We warmly congratulate our team on winning the gold medal and extend our congratulations to all other championship participants for their dedication, determination and sportsmanship.

Wolters Kluwer has provided the Croatian research and academic community with trial access to the Ovid Discovery AI platform, which combines scholarly literature searching with artificial intelligence tools for analysing, comparing and synthesising research findings. Trial access is available until 18 December 2026.
Ovid Discovery AI supports natural language searching, while the retrieved literature can be further analysed using five AI-powered tools:
- Best Match Summary – summarises the most relevant search results.
- Key Metrics – compares research methodologies, study populations and outcomes.
- Essential Insights – synthesises key findings from multiple selected publications.

The Croatian scientific and academic community has been granted trial access to journals published by the British publisher Cambridge University Press.
The Cambridge Journals collection includes more than 420 peer-reviewed scientific journals covering all academic disciplines.
