To commemorate the 25th anniversary of Pope John Paul II's pastoral visit to Solin and Split, the Faculty of Catholic Theology of the University of Split, the Public Cultural Institution "Zvonimir" Solin, and the Parish "Gospe od otoka" in Solin organized a two-day international scientific conference and program entitled "The Treasure of Faith" on October 5 and 6, 2023, at the Shrine of Our Lady in Solin.
The event featured 28 speakers from Croatia and abroad who explored the role of John Paul II in the recent history of our nation and the Church in Croatia, and assessed what we have translated into life from his messages, and what still remains to be done.
