The University of Split has opened applications for the International Split Summer School in 2020. Catholic Faculty of Theology offers there three different modules: Position and Significance of Saint Jerome in Croatian Culture (prof. dr. sc. Ivan Bodrožić), , From Natural Philosophy to Modern Science: A Paradigm Shift i Why is Catholicism Boring? (lic. theol. Bruno Petrušić) The International Summer School represents a lifelong learning educational program with the acquisition of ECTS points for the purpose of teaching, recreation, and vacation in Split. It is specially designed for students and young professionals from different countries to gain experience in the multicultural and interdisciplinary learning environment through one of the seven programs and to establish co-operation with participants and lecturers. Learning is based on practical examples, visits to companies and cultural sights, and all this with interesting lectures by domestic and foreign lecturers. As part of the summer school, there will be interesting courses, workshops, panel discussions on various topics. The Split Summer School will take place in the summer, and for each program/course there are specially defined dates, as well as the cost. The list of programs offered by the University of Split is classified according to scientific fields and specific Faculty or Department. The courses (modules) are held in English and will be held in Croatian if all participants would come from the Croatian speaking area.
